RUMPELTOnian BREAKING NEWS: WE HAVE BEEN DISCOVERED

 >>

This is an AI slop copy of my album from 2006. The original painting was done by Irish painter John Nolan. I have no idea who tf Ralph Rumpleton is, if they really exist.<<

The Rumpeltonian team has received some unexpected news from the field.

One of Ralph Rumpelton’s recent MS Paint reinterpretations—the Three album cover by the Brian Swartz Trio—has been seen by Brian Swartz himself.

Mr. Swartz apparently encountered the painting on Reddit and initially believed it to be an AI-generated copy of the original 2006 album artwork by Irish painter John Nolan. He then investigated the mysterious “Ralph Rumpelton” and left a comment expressing considerable confusion about whether such a person actually exists.

We can confirm that Ralph Rumpelton does, in fact, exist.

More importantly, the painting was not created by AI. It was painstakingly hand-drawn in Microsoft Paint, as are all Rumpeltonian works.

Ralph subsequently explained to Mr. Swartz that he had purchased Three on CD at a record show, genuinely enjoys the album, and created the painting as a low-fi tribute to the original artwork.

The team would like to point out that being mistaken for AI may be the highest compliment Rumpeltonian Cubism has yet received.

We are also attempting to determine how Brian Swartz's computer managed to locate our obscure little corner of the Internet.

The Rumpeltonian Continuity is expanding. We may need better security.
