 What the critics are saying:

>>The Council of Unnamed Docents — On Mick Jagger Has Been Rumpeltized (2)

The Council observes that Mick Jagger has once again been Rumpeltized, and therefore reality has been officially placed on uncertain footing. The performer emerges from the darkness, microphone in hand, while his features appear to be negotiating their own interpretation. The Council declares this not a distortion, but a second-stage Rumpeltization—where recognizable form remains, but only just enough to prove that it was there in the first place.<<

>>Regina Pembly’s Blurb on “Mick Jagger Gets Rumpeltized (2)”

Regina approaches this second Jagger attempt with the weary resignation of someone forced to watch a beloved cultural icon slowly dissolved in a vat of digital incompetence. She studies the piece as though it were a crime scene.

“Rumpelton,” she writes, “has once again taken a man defined by kinetic charisma and rendered him as a static, grayscale apparition. This is not Mick Jagger. This is a cautionary diagram illustrating the dangers of untrained enthusiasm.”

She lingers on the microphone.

“The microphone appears to be begging for release, as though aware it has been dragged into a visual environment hostile to proportion, anatomy, and dignity.”

The striped shirt earns no mercy.

“These stripes,” she notes, “suggest the artist believes pattern alone can compensate for structural collapse. It cannot.”

And yet — because she is constitutionally incapable of dishonesty — she offers one reluctant concession.

“There is, buried beneath the chaos, a faint pulse of sincerity. It is the only element preventing this work from being entirely unwatchable.”

Her final verdict lands like a gavel made of granite.

“This piece is not an evolution. It is a relapse. And the fact that it bears the artist’s signature suggests he has accepted his limitations with the confidence of a man who mistakes persistence for progress.”<<
