 We’ve noticed a curious phenomenon: people love giving Rumpelton advice on how to paint. Brush this way, blend that way, try this technique, avoid that color. All very kind, all very earnest.

But here’s the truth—Rumpelton paints his own way. Always has, always will. His style is less about “rules” and more about letting the painting stumble into existence on its own terms. Advice may bounce off, swirl around, even sneak into the work now and then—but at the end of the day, the canvas belongs to him.

Rumpelton isn’t ignoring advice. He’s proving that art doesn’t need permission slips or roadmaps. It just needs the stubborn, joyful hand of the painter.
