Behind the Paint: The Great Face Collapse (Little Feat - "Feats Don't Fail Me Now")

🖌️ Behind the Paint: The Great Face Collapse
This piece almost took a very different turn. Originally, the plan was to draw two fully detailed passengers inside the car. But after blowing up the canvas to work on their faces, then shrinking it back down, something... happened. Eyes, nose, and mouth fused into a single, unholy smear—like a Southern Gothic emoji melting in the sun. Rather than fight it, I let the glitch ride. The result? Two anonymous figures caught mid-funk, mid-flight, mid-existential crisis.
Also, if the car had given me any more trouble, this would’ve been a tandem bike piece. You’ve been warned.
